Project Details
Many clients contact us for our tank decommissioning services. Often the removal of a tank isn't viable or cost effective. If there are no immediate plans for building works or to recommission the land where your underground tank is, decommissioning and tank filling is a great, viable option.
For this client, they didn't want the tank removed and have no plans to build on the land in the future. The quickest and most cost effective way to decommission their 4 tanks was to concrete fill them. The great thing with concrete, is that we can use concrete slurry to fill the tanks right up-to ground level, often seamlessly blending the old holes with the current concrete surface.
As you can see from our images, we decommissioned all 4 tanks, blended the empty tanks with the remaining concrete surface.
It is important to note that before we commenced decommissioning work, we thoroughly cleaned out the underground tanks to ensure no dangerous chemicals were left. To find out more about our tank cleaning services please click here.
Here at Bio Clean Jetting Limited we cater for above or below ground fuel storage tanks any size or shape. We provide two types of service: either remove the tank or solid fill the tank (we use concrete).
