Tank Decommissioning Services

Tanks to be disposed of must be cleaned, purged and certified with a Gas Free Certificate before removal from site or recycling.

Bio Clean Jetting offer full tank removal and decommissioning services across the UK, including foam-fill decommissioning for added safety. We provide a full service from planning to completion with detailed health and safety documentation following site survey.

Our specialist teams have experience of high risk tank removal projects above and below ground where pollution and explosion risks must be controlled. We handle everything from industrial cleaning to waste disposal and tank removal.

Domestic Tank Removals

Our domestic tank removals have been designed to provide our clients with a stress-free disposal of a large and potentially hazardous household item.

Our work force will safely clean, dispose of the stored chemical in your tank and then remove your domestic oil tank – no matter where it is stored – below or above ground.

We have a range of options available for safe disposal. Where we can, we will remove a domestic tank in one piece. However, if excavation is needed or access to the tank is restricted, we can employ sophisticated cutting techniques.

We ensure all health and safety laws are strictly adhered to and we project plan and run the entire process from start to finish.

Solid Filling Tanks

If you have land or premises that currently have underground tanks that are unused and redundant and you need to make them safe but without the cost implications of removal, we can solid fill them with concrete or foam.

We fill the redundant tanks with either concrete slurry or a type of solid foam. Once the tanks are filled and safe, we will either completely cove them.

If you want to build anything that requires a foundation, the tanks will physically need to be removed.

Solid Filled Tank Disposal

Looking to develop land with solid-filled tanks underneath? We specialise in removing these old storage tanks that were previously foam or concrete filled. While this filling method was a safe and cost-effective solution at the time, any new construction work requiring foundations means these tanks need to come out.

We’ve got the right experience and equipment to excavate and remove these solid-filled tanks properly, making way for your development plans.
